Debra L. Golymbieski
Debra Golymbieski is a graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University and of the University of Georgia School of Law. She has practiced law in the State of Georgia for over thirty years and has consistently represented government clients.
She began her career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia where she represented various state agencies in tort actions as well as in consumer protection and regulatory matters. She subsequently worked as an Assistant County Attorney for DeKalb County. In private practice she has represented municipalities and public school systems as well as private businesses and individuals.
She currently represents clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including zoning and condemnation cases. In addition to her litigation practice, she regularly attends city council meetings and advises clients, including local government clients, on matters such as governance, open meetings and open records, legislative matters, enforcement issues, public procurement and contracting, service delivery strategy issues, and employment issues.
Ms. Golymbieski is also a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute resolution and has completed additional training in workplace conflict resolution and human resources management.
